A combination of healthy diet and lifestyle will increase a diverse gut bacteria population and

boost the immune system. Including more fiber rich foods (nuts, whole grains, vegetables, and

legumes), probiotic rich food (yogurt, kefir, kimchi, and kombucha), prebiotic foods (garlic,

onion, leeks, banana, asparagus, and oat), variety of plant-based foods, limited ultra processed

foods and sugar, unnecessary antibiotics, less stress, staying hydrated, getting enough sleep, and considering probiotics when needed will increase the population of good bacteria and improve the immune system. Making gradual changes can improve the gut health and enhance a thriving community of good bacteria. Low fiber diet reduce the diversity of beneficial bacteria and increase the harmful bacteria that cause digestive problems. Gut microbiome or the trillions of microbes in the gut can communicate with every organ in the body and have a positive or

negative impact on the whole body.
